Community Network for Empowerment (CoNE)

The Community Network for Empowerment (CoNE) is decided upon based on strong conviction on unity, support, equality, inclusiveness, spirit of friendliness, collaboration and the will to change the current situation faced by drug users in the State of Manipur. Bringing in positive changes in the lives of people who use drugs by amplifying the voices and making effective and meaningful representation and participation as a state network in important policy and programming forums across state, national, regional and international fora.

CoNE believes that people who use drugs have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and be able to live their lives free from discrimination, stigma, harassment, human rights violations and having access to different programs on health and other aspects that contribute to a decent living and   become a productive member of the society.
